  • Academic information: course enrollments, submissions, grades, and progress data.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, access times, and pages viewed.
  • Usage data: interactions with courses, lectures, quizzes, assignments, and downloads.

1.3 Payments

If you pay fees through the Platform, payments may be processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Paystack). We receive payment status and reference information needed to confirm your payment. We do not store full card details on our servers.

1.4 Google account connection (optional)

You may choose to connect your Google account to use Google Docs features (for example, document preview or creating documents for coursework). If you connect your Google account, we may request access to Google APIs such as Google Drive and Google Docs. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your profile settings.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide and operate the Platform, including authentication and access control.
  • To deliver course content, enable enrollment, track progress, and manage assessments and grading.
  • To process fees, confirm payments, and apply access rules related to payment status (where applicable).
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, support requests, and administrative notices.
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve performance and reliability.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With lecturers and authorized staff for academic delivery, grading, administration, and support.
  • With service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics) to operate the Platform.
  • When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security of users and the Platform.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Academic records may be retained for institutional and accreditation needs.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

  • You can update profile details from your dashboard settings.
  • You can disconnect your Google account at any time from profile settings.
  • You can request access or deletion where applicable by contacting us.

7. Cookies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain sessions, and improve user experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. International Users

If you access the Platform from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be processed in a different jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing.
