2. Platform Use
You agree not to misuse the Platform. Prohibited activities include:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Uploading malware, exploiting vulnerabilities, or disrupting service availability.
- Violating academic integrity (including cheating, plagiarism, or impersonation).
- Sharing protected course materials outside authorized access.
3. Content and Intellectual Property
- The Platform and its software, branding, and general content are owned by CREMITS or its licensors and protected by applicable laws.
- Course materials may be provided by lecturers or CREMITS. You may use them for personal learning within the Platform only unless explicit permission is granted.
4. User Submissions
When you submit content (assignments, files, messages), you retain ownership of your content, but you grant CREMITS and authorized staff the right to use it as needed to provide the academic service (grading, feedback, plagiarism checks, records, and support).
5. Google Account Connection (Optional)
If you connect your Google account, you authorize the Platform to access Google APIs based on the permissions you grant during the consent flow. You can disconnect at any time from profile settings. Google services are subject to Google’s own terms and policies.
6. Fees and Payments
- Fees, where applicable, must be paid according to the program requirements communicated to you.
- Payments may be processed by third-party providers. We are not responsible for third-party service outages.
7. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, including features and content, to improve services, comply with law, or maintain security and performance.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, academic policies, or if required for security or legal reasons. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Platform will be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CREMITS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Platform.
